acid ingredients? I’m looking for a protein powder that is JUST protein powder. I’m dieting to lose weight and doing cardio and want a low calorie protein supplement to add to my diet but i’ve read creatine makes you retain water which i don’t want. Plus that Taurine and stuff they put in energy drinks doesn’t react well in my system. I made the mistake of buying the “Body Fortress” brand at Wal-Mart which has all those other things.
I don’t know if that particular brand of protein does or not. I’ve just bought plain creatine and plain protein. If you can’t find the word creatine on there it probably doesn’t have it. Don’t take creatine, also not just because it makes you retain water, but if you aren’t drinking about twice as much water as normal it just kills your liver. If you are buying 100% whey protein you should be ok.
