Palm Pixi Vs Sony Ericsson Aino – Sophisticated Phones With Exemplary Features
Sony Ericsson mobile phones is a renowned brand that has created innumerable gadgets with
numerous high-end features. Unique design and brilliant latest technologies are the strengths of these phones. On the contrary Palm is more focused on manufacturing handheld PDAs (personal digital assistants) running on the Palm Operating System. This big brand has released several distinctive looking handsets that serve the purposes of both a mobile phone and a PDA as well. After evaluating a comparison chart between the characteristics of Palm Pixi versus Sony Ericsson Aino, one can cite that both the gadgets have been equipped with distinctly unique features. Both these gadgets support 2G as well as 3G networks, which guarantees consistent connectivity, no matter, where you go.
Another similarity amongst both these gadgets is that they support advanced messaging features such as text messages (threaded view), Multimedia Messages (MMS) and Emails. The users can create and send messages using texts, images and photographs to family and friends. The palm Pixi comes with a 2.63 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen capable of displaying 256 thousand colours whereas the Sony
Sony Ericsson Aino has been adorned with a much larger 3.0 inches touchscreen display exhibiting 16 Million colours. An added advantage if the Pixi gadgets is that it has been fitted with a full QWERTY keyboards which lacks in the Ericsson phone.On the other hand Anio scores high with its 8.1 mega pixel camera with advanced inbuilt features like autofocus, LED flash, Touch focus, geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilizer, smart contrast and red-eye reduction. This suave camera phone allows the user to capture high quality digital pictures. There is a separate VGA camera that supports video recording at 30 frames per second. On the contrary, Pixi comes with a bit low 2 mega pixel camera which captures decent images at a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and the same camera is used for video recording as well.
The storage capabilities of these gadgets are quite good, the Palm equipment has been integrated with ample internal memory space of 8 GB but there is no card slot to sustain expandable memory. On the other hand the Sony Ericsson device has 55 MB of internal memory backed with an expandable MicroSD memory card option.
Pertaining to their entertainment features, the Ericsson handset has been equipped with numerous features like HTML browser, music player, FM radio with RDS and polyphonic ringtones that assist the music and internet capabilities of the gadget. Whereas the Palm gadget comes with limited feature for music like the polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, it misses on other features like FM radio and media player. Both the gadgets come with inbuilt games and a GPS support system.
High speed internet browsing at the rate of 7.2 Mbps can be accessed with 3G HSDPA in both the equipments. But when it comes to internet access through 3G HSUPA, the Pixi handset scores over Aino, offering an excellent browsing speed which is as good as 5.76 Mbps. Other connectivity options of the Pixi include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, Infrared port and USB. On the other hand Aino sports more or less the same features but it misses on the infrared port and scores with the presence of WLAN Wi-Fi.

i think i broke my index finger. am i treating it right?
i think i broke it, not sure because i didnt go to the dr. (no insurance). it wuz really swollen like a bad jam, but the whole hand swelled up too, there was no knuckle definition for a few days. bruising on all 3 fingers except for the pinky and bruising on the underside of the hand to the palm. i bought a splint and put it on the top of the finger, so if my hand was on its palm the splint is visible. i put it there because the pain and bump was on the middle phalanx (the bendy part), taped it to my middle finger to support the sides. did i do this right?
If you can MOVE your finger, it's not broken.
Start taking ibuprophen right away, and keep taking it. It takes 2-3 full days to really feel the full effects of the anti-anflamitory/ease the swelling - Oh, & ICE, ICE, and more ice.
If there's a county hospital where you live, GO THERE. Even without insurance, they will treat you - they'll likely have you meet with a social worker who will help you fill out forms to determine if you qaulify for GAMP, general assistantance medical program.
