Can A Few Enjoyable Exercises Make That Double Chin Disappear?
We all think of exercises in terms of aerobics and similar body movements that are designed to increase stamina and muscle tone, but exercises come in many different forms and styles. It is true that most of what we see on television and on videos in regards to exercises are geared towards more major body work, but there are times when nifty little exercises you probably have not heard about can come in handy to help shape your body. So, it is time for you to face fitness.
It may be hard to believe, but your looks can improve just by taking a cold hard look at your facial flab, especially those layers under your chin. Friends and family, and many others see what you overlook: an unappealing double chin, especially in videos and photos where harsh lighting makes it look even worse. For most people, a medical solution involving plastic surgery just is not viable. However, you might be interested to know that a series of quick exercises can be the first step to stepping up to a better looking face.
Our faces are made up of dozens of muscles working in groups to create our looks. A few pleasant exercises and a commitment to improved looks is all it takes to rid yourself of that out of place double chin. Do not expect to see immediate results, rather like any self-improvement regimen you will make steady progress towards your goal of better facial tone.
There are probably a number of exercises that can help to get rid of double chin, but two of the most common ones are going to be discussed here. Afterward, there will be a short bit about breathing techniques in relation to these exercises. If you follow through on what is about to be discussed, you shouldn't have much of a problem working those plump muscles in that face of yours. If you want good facial tone, then you need to put those muscles to hard work. And here's how you can do that.
Let's start with sitting erect in a chair with a slight backward tilt to the head. Now squeeze your lips together, and thrust your jaw out while strongly pulling with your fingers on the loose skin at the base of your neck below your Adam's Apple. Hold this for a count of four, relax for the same count and repeat.
While the previous exercise is convenient to do anytime you are seated. However, the second exercise requires you to lie on your back on the floor. Press your chin against your chest by lifting the back of your head off the floor. Hold this position for a few seconds, and carefully relax by lowering your head. You should plan to repeat this motion a handful of times for each exercise session.
It is best that you attempt both of these exercises for a number of times daily, such as possibly thirty or forty times. If you just do these exercises here and there and far in between, then you will not see any definitive results. As stated earlier, these are true exercises and should be treated as such. You need to work the muscles in your face on a continuous basis to alter their tone and strength. Removing a double chin is not something that is going to happen literally overnight or even in a few days.
And now for the final part of this discussion on improving facial muscle tone. As with any other exercise regimen, there are a few breathing steps that should be remembered for best results. Don't think that breathing is not something to be overly concerned about just because exercises regarding the face are minimal compared to other exercises. That is not the case at all, so it is best to remember that your breathing and your exercise motion rhythm should be in sync. If you follow all these steps, you can safely say goodbye to that annoying double chin.

Questions & Answers about Chin Pull Sit
1.) What does it mean when someone says 'you need to work on your glutes.'?
What are glutes and how do you work on them?
2.) What's the difference between sit-ups and crunches? Which one's easier?
3.) What's the difference between pull-ups & chin-ups? Is one easier then the other?
4.) when u have sore muscles and stuff, how long should u put ice and heat on it and how often do u switch them?
1. your glutes are short for gluteus maximus (butt muscles) you can work on them by doing squats in repetitions
http://exercise.about.com/od/butthipsthighs/tp/butt.htm
squats, lunges, step ups, hip extensions, one legged deadlifts,
2. sit ups are when u lay on ur back with knees/legs up but when u move ur back up, u move it all the way forward so ur chest touches ur legs
crunches are EASIER..u only sit back up halfway and u don't move ur upper body all the way forward
3. The difference between Pull-ups & Chin-ups is in the grip:
Pull-ups. Palms facing away. Less biceps, more back. Harder.
Chin-ups. Palms facing you. Work your biceps more. Easier.
4. when u have sore muscles, i suggest u use only heat because Heat relaxes tightened and sore muscles and reduces pain
Apply heat to the injured areas for 20 minutes up to three times a day.
in combination, ice may cause negative effects on ur crucial muscles
Where can I get a free personal workout plan?
I'm 14 years old, 130 pounds, I do jog every day, but I stopped working out every other day because I never really had a plan and never knew exactly what I was doing.
Once I have a good routine, I wont stop. I'm very dedicated if I want something.
I'm looking to build muscle mass and strength, along with stay in shape, but I don't play any other sports, as I suck at them. Luckily, I've developed a bit of a 6 pack, and some muscle in my arms and legs, but still not too much.
I should say, I'm pretty low on equipment, but I DO have adjustable dumbbells (willing to buy any amount of weights, for now I can do upto 20 on each, so 40 in all), a sit-up mat (or whatever it's called) and a pull-up/chin-up bar.
Where can I get a free personal workout plan? Is there an online planner I can use? Or is someone here willing to give me some advice.
Sorry, I'm 15 years old, if it makes a difference.
Develop one yourself... simple..
I started simple like doing the basics..
10 setups
10 push ups
5 pull ups (lol)
ext..
Then when that starts to get easy simply increase by 5 (usually about a week)
The main thing is not to over do it..
Once in shape you then need to decide what your "goal" is.. Do you want muscle? or do you want to be tone ext...
Muscle is just as much to do with eating as it is to lifting weights.. You can pump as much as you want but without the proper diet your really just getting yourself toned... It can be an expensive hobby with all the foods/vitamins...
Do a search on weight lifting forums.. They have all the knowledge and experience in there.. They will help you buy the right products because 99% of the products are a rip off...
